Raised free-range in rural west. Attended Reed College then University of Montana studying creative writing then play writing, two one-acts produced by the UM Repertory Theater. Emigrated to New York City  (think (“Taxi Driver”) the month it went bankrupt…. not my fault. Did grunt work in publishing while touring as Equity Stage Manager and building sets at Roundabout Theater. Switched from piano and guitar (sucked at them) to study drums and didn’t suck, then found true love playing bass, first electric then acoustic. Raised two kids, just now going out on their own. Life long (i.e., compulsive) writer with 3 self-published novels, now completing another, a futuristic climate crisis thriller. Love making music with these two great guys in Solar Wind about more than anything.
