Born and raised in central Massachusetts; happiest as a child when immersed in nature and music (show tunes, am radio, everything).  Childhood lessons in piano and drums; in high school, learned guitar and sang in glee club.  Studied psychology in college; moved to New York City to go to graduate school but really for the music scene. After graduation, left psychology to start a career in music.  Joined community theater and wrote the score to my first (and only) musical in 1976.  Studied jazz piano with Harold Danko and Latin percussion at Boys Harbor in Spanish Harlem. Spent the next five years playing popular music in clubs (the Cotton Club, Kenny’s Castaways, The Bitter End and others) and private parties in the metro NY area.  Shifted focus in my thirties and had a successful career in finance but never stopped playing. Now, free to focus on music again, I am unbelievably happy and honored to be playing with Rick and Matt, two uniquely talented, open and creative musicians and friends.
